Agilex Technologies Hires John G. Edwards as President of the Intelligence, Security and Defense Sector
Intelligence Community Executive to Lead Dedicated Practice Group Focused on New and Emerging Technologies for this Strategic Market

Edwards as President of the company’s Intelligence, Security and Defense (ISD) sector business. Edwards is a twenty-year veteran of the Intelligence Community, having served most recently with the Office of the Director of Central Intelligence (DCI), where he played an integral role in implementing the agency’s strategic and operational priorities in the wake of 9/11. Edwards will lead Agilex’s significant resource commitment to the intelligence, national defense and homeland security communities with a specific focus on expanding the company’s product, service and solution offering for this strategic market.

In addition to his six-years of service within the Office of the DCI, Edwards also spent nearly fifteen years overseeing technical operations and engineering support within the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). In recognition of his significant contributions, Edwards was awarded the Intelligence Commendation Medal, the Intelligence Medal of Merit, and the DCI Director's Medal. Edwards joins Agilex from Blackbird Technologies, where he served as Vice President for Special Programs. During his tenure with the company, Edwards grew significantly the company’s support to the Defense and Intelligence communities.
