SAIC Selects Agilex as a Subcontractor for the Defense Intelligence Agency’s Solutions for the Information Technology Enterprise Contract
Five-Year, $6.6B (Ceiling) IDIQ Vehicle to Support the Global IT Requirements of the Defense Intelligence Enterprise
Agilex Technologies, an enterprise application, solution and advisory firm serving the healthcare, national security, and public sectors, announced today that it is a subcontractor for the Solutions for the Information Technology Enterprise (SITE) contract recently awarded to prime contractor Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC).
The SITE contract was developed and awarded by the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) to provide the DIA DoD Intelligence Information System (DoDIIS) Enterprise, Combatant Commands and Service Intelligence Agencies with mission-ready information technology (IT) services. The multiple award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract has a one-year base period of performance, four one-year options, and a ceiling value of $6.6 billion for all awardees. This is the largest contract ever awarded by DIA.
“DIA plays a central role in advancing the warfighting capabilities of U.S. forces. Critical to this mission has been the use of innovative IT solutions to streamline the capture and analysis of battlefield intelligence,” said John Edwards, president of Agilex’ Intelligence Community sector business. “We are delighted to be a member of the SAIC team that will be supporting this strategic mission. We share SAIC’s commitment to innovation and excellence and look forward to playing an important role in the success of this contract.”
DIA maintains responsibility within the Department of Defense (DoD) for providing warfighters, policymakers and planners with timely and relevant military intelligence to support both ongoing military operations as well as future weapon systems acquisitions. SITE is intended to provide DIA with direct access to the full scope of IT services and capabilities needed to fulfill this critical mission.
Under the SITE contract, SAIC and other contractors will provide worldwide coverage for IT requirements and technical support services, and assist the government through system design, development, fielding, and sustainment of global intelligence and C2 (command and control) assets vital to the security of the United States. SAIC will support such areas as program management; technology assessment and evaluation; network operations and administration; web and content management; and information assurance.
